What to expect over a class event
Upon your arrival on Friday, proceed to the classroom where race craft will be discussed, the NASA CCR reviewed, and a written test given.
The second day involves multiple track exercises, including practice starts, off-line driving, side-by-side driving, race scenarios, and handling unexpected events.
The third day, contingent upon passing the prior sessions, you will take to the track for the actual race. It is imperative to be punctual, properly positioned on the grid, and committed to racing cleanly without contact.
I’m not ready, what’s next?
Advancing to a full competition license is a challenging process, as we require a high level of competence for the safety of all competitors.
NASA stands out with a comprehensive program that guides you from being a novice driver to obtaining a full competition license, providing all the necessary training and coaching to ensure you become a successful and safe competitor.
A great starting point is our HPDE Program as well as numerous open lapping days throughout the year in our region.
